Thank you to all the art therapists and others who generously gave their time to collect drawings for the DDS Archive. Through your generosity, you have created a valuable resource for all art therapists.

In order to ensure that future DDS research is readily approved by Institutional Review Boards, we can no longer thank you all by name, in order to keep the DDS data entirely anonymous. However, we can name regions represented in the Archive.

Thank you to those who collected and donated art from AZ, CA, CT, DC, FL, IA, IL, KY, LA, MA, NM, NY, OH, OR, PA, VA, WA, WI, and the Netherlands!

Thank you to the artist who drew, as the first picture of a DDS, the image we are using for the DDS homepage, and thanks to Eric Mucklow for photographing it. We welcome donations of DDSs from people aged 13 and over to the Archive. Please do not feel that you are obliged to gather large numbers of drawings in order to participate in the Diagnostic Drawing Series project. DDSs can be gathered by mental health professionals and art therapy students. A well-collected sample of five will be an appreciated contribution. Therapists whose facilities cannot comply with collection criteria are strongly encouraged to collect Control samples from non-hospitalized, nonpsychiatric populations. Please read the Handbook thoroughly so that you can be sure that you are following the protocol accurately.
